Every year the Borough of East Newark allows residents to hold garage sales where no approved permits are required.

In 2024, this Borough wide garage sale will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 from 9am to 6pm.

1. The Borough will prepare a list of all garage sales to be available on all social media platforms. If you want your address listed, you will need to pre-register. The deadline for submission is Tuesday Oct 1st.
    
2. Registration fee of $5 will need to be brought to Borough Hall by October 1st. You will get your address published on the garage sale list, which will be posted on the Borough website and a balloon to put outside your home.
