Hudson County Improvement Authority (HCIA) is hosting its Fall 2024 HHW Days for safe disposal and recycling of household hazardous waste, electronics, and tires. This is a free event open to all Hudson County residents!

Event Dates and Locations:

• Sunday, October 6

  • Bayonne: Gregg Park (Parking Lot #1)
  • Jersey City: Municipal Complex (13-15 Linden Ave)

• Saturday, October 19

  • Kearny: DPW (357 Bergen Ave)
  • Hoboken: DPW (1500 Jefferson Street)

Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Rain or Shine)

What to Bring:

• Tires, antifreeze, latex paint, compact fluorescent lightbulbs
• Electronic Waste Recycling: Computers, TVs, printers, tablets, smartphones, monitors, gaming systems, keyboards, etc.

What Not to Bring:

• Alkaline batteries, air conditioners, compressed gas cylinders, over-the-counter or prescription drugs
• Household appliances like washers, dryers, and refrigerators will not be accepted.
