Food Pantry
In an emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Borough of East Newark (Hudson County) launched a temporary food pantry for any resident in need.
The pantry is open every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is located at the East Newark Senior Center, 37 President Street (use the Central Avenue entrance). Proof of residency is needed and please be sure to wear a face covering.
If you would like to donate to the pantry, here are some ways:
Food: Drop off box is located outside of the Borough Hall, 34 Sherman Avenue.
Monetary donation: Make checks payable to Borough of East Newark (note in the memo “East Newark Food Pantry”).
The pantry is run by wonderful volunteers from our communities.
