The Mayors Wellness Campaign (MWC) is a community health initiative led by the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute in partnership with the New Jersey State League of Municipalities, with a goal of supporting participating mayors in pursuit of promoting healthy, active living and wellness as a way of life in their communities.
Mayor’s Statement
The East Newark Mayors Wellness Campaign is committed to improving the health and wellness of our community; to provide free or low-cost workshops, health education and screenings, exercise opportunities, access, and information for healthy foods and disease prevention.
Please join me in committing to a healthy lifestyle and starting new healthy habits.
